Now this brother right here is a true inspiration to our movement and I don’t even think he realizes how much. Being in this business, doing what we do you tend to meet a lot of movers and shakers. When we started targeting the urban demographic, I found out about @nickloveatl and @AtlBiteLife. Here was an ultimate foodie blending hip hop and fab food local hot spots while interviewing the dopest artists in the city. I thought this concept was super dope and I knew one day we would work together. On the path we were starting, it would be inevitable.
Somehow Nick and I connected and discussed how we wanted to do an exclusive event and at the time we just created @thefoodclub. The first official #FoodClub was an Atl Bite Life edition.
In those two hours I interviewed Nick and I served several tasting plates to his guests. In that moment we realized how big #TheFoodClub could be if we kept it going. Together we have provided the urban foodie an outlet to do what you love and eat what you like! Nick has been supporting us ever since we met and it means to world to me that he donated $100 to our cause today!!!! We greatly appreciate you Nick! With his contribution he will receive a perk of 3 custom bottles of wine. All I can say is – That’s whats up! Nick you will always be welcome and have a loyalty card at #UrbanVines. We will never forget you being a part of our history. #OpenUrbanVines
Forgot to post what everyone else brought to "food club" aka "the floating supper" this months theme was potato! We had my mini sweet potato muffins with maple bacon topping, scalloped potatoes with spinach and artichokes, latke's with homemade taziki and roaster garlic aioli and samosas! Mmmm was like a sweet potato food coma baby after!!
