Livemocha was an online language exchange community created in 2007 by Raghev Kher, Shirish Nadkami, and Krishnan Seshadrinathan. It allowed users to learn a language from native speaker members. Users had the opportunity to learn any of the 38 languages offered on the platform. Unfortunately, in 2016, Livemocha announced that it was closing its doors, leaving behind their 12 million members. It has now evolved into Hellolingo, a partnership between the developers of Livomocha and SharedTalk by Rosetta Stone. Hellolingo offers the same services as Livemocha and SharedStone. Hellolingo is founded and developed by Bernard Vanderydt.
