Wordle is a website that allows users to create word clouds or “wordles” just by inputting text. Words are given prominence according to the number of times they are mentioned in a certain text. Additionally, Wordle lets users edit their word clouds using different colors, fonts and layouts. Once, a user is finished editing its wordle, the platform lets you print it or save it as a PDF. The website was launched in 2008 and since then users have saved more than 7,000,000 word clouds.
